Web Design Service FAQs
What source files do you accept?
We can convert the following source file formats into a Joomla template
- Photoshop (PSD)
- Portable Network Graphics (PNG)
- Adobe Illustrator (AI)
- Tagged Image File Format (TIFF)
- JPEG
- HTML Layouts
What Browsers will the template support?
The custom design or template conversion will validate according to W3C standards.
We also test the template across the following browsers before we release the design to you.
- Internet Explorer 7 & 8
- Firefox 2, 3 and above
- Safari 3 and 4
- Google Chrome
- Opera 9+
Will the design be tableless?
The template will validate according to W3C standards and will NOT include tables. We also create a number of template over ride files for the design to remove any tables generated by Joomla
How many module positions can the design support?
You can specify as many collapsible module positions as you like and we will code the style the module positions into the design for you.
Can I test the template before it is released?
Once we have developed the Joomla template, we setup and install the design on our demo server so you can view and test the design.
During the testing phase you will have the opportunity to request changes to the design before the Joomla template is released.
Can you install the template for me?
Yes we can install the template for you, we will need to following in order to install and setup the design for you.
- Web site URL where Joomla is installed
- Joomla! super administrator account
- FTP account to the web site
What is included in the final template release??
The template package will include the following
- Joomla template zip file which you can install directly via the Joomla content management web site.
- Template install guide which provides you with step by step instructions about how to install and setup the design.
- The original Photoshop PSD file if you have ordered the custom web design service
Content Managed Web Site FAQs
Do i need to install any software?
The simple answer is no, all you need is a web browser to access, manage and update your content managed web site from any where in the world.
How many pages can i add to the web site?
You can add, update and publish as many pages as you like to the web site using the built-in easy to use WYSIWYG editor.
Can i upload images?
Yes you can upload and add images to pages published to your web site.
Can I manage and update the web site myself?
You have complete control over the web site using your browser via the content management administrator control panel.

- Add, update and publish pages to the web site
- Upload images
- Organize your pages using sections and categories
- Create New menus

General FAQs
How long will it take to complete my project?
- Template Conversion: 5 working business days
- Custom Web Design: 10 working business days
- Content Managed Web site: Between 2 to 4 weeks
What payments do you accept?
We currently only accept payments via Paypal.com
The payment policy only applies to the following services
- Template Conversion
- Custom web design
- Customers who wish to pay for the total cost of the Joomla content managed web site rather than spreading the cost of the new web site over a 12 month period.
When we have confirmed the requirements and project delivery timescales with you plus you have agreed for us to start the development work we will send you an invoice via Paypal for 50% of the total project cost.
Once you have reviewed and approved the final template design or content management web site you will be required to make the final payment via Paypal before the web design or content managed website is released to you or your new web site is enabled.
