The Joomla! development team have announced the release of the Joomla! 1.5 Beta-2 code named 'Red Barchetta' which brings you one step closer to the long awaited release of version 1.5. The Beta release is designed for testing purposes for end users, 3rd party component and web site design developers in preperation for the migration from joomla 1.0.12

Joomla 1.5 Beta 2 has been completely rewritten from the ground up and is a great achievement for the development team to release a complete rewrite of the core code in such a short period of time.
